A Listing of Scripture & comments regarding Israel & the Jews

• The relationship between Israel, the Jews, & the bloodline.
• A Summary of Scripture & some comments I’ve made regarding Israel, the Jews, and the bloodline relating to the Jews, the nation, and even the Jewish lineage of Christ.

Gen 17:2 “I will establish My covenant between Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly.” {He would establish it through his blood line and those who so ever will believe as Abraham had as well. We are all sons of Abraham by his kind of faith in believing God. God blessed Abraham with a son because of his faith in believing God’s Word.}

Gen 17:4 “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a multitude of nations. {Not just Israel but the Gentiles as well}
Gen 17:5 “No longer shall your name be called Abram, But your name shall be Abraham; For I have made you the father of a multitude of nations. {A spiritual father of many nations (people groups).}
Gen 17:6 “I will make you exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings will come forth from you. {Not only through the blood line but in the Spirit. He is our father in the faith. For God found favor in Him for his(Abram’s) faith in believing God.}

Rahab the Harlot was converted through her faith not by blood line. Later became part of the lineage of Christ! Hebrews 11:30,31

Gen.32:28 He said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.”

“By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days. By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient” (Hebrews 11:30-31).
Josh.6:25 However, Rahab the harlot and her father’s household and all she had, Joshua spared; and she has lived in the midst of Israel to this day, for she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. {Rahab was not in born into the Jewish religion but accepted the Jewish God and joined the nation & later was to in the lineage of the Messiah}

2Sam.2:4 Then the men of Judah came and there anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, “It was the men of Jabesh-gilead who buried Saul.” {King David was a King over Israel and he was in the lineage of the Messiah who was yet to come}

Ruth 1:16 But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you lodge, I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God. {For Ruth (who was a Moabite) not only joined the Jewish religion but the nation it’s self. You can not divorce the nation from the Jews following their living God}

{I’m unable to find the actual scripture for this but will in the future: As for the nation of Israel today, the Bible does predict it would someday be reestablished but in a fallen & backslidden state not believing in their God but a remnant of the Jews until later towards the imminent return of Christ the Messiah.}
